Ok, I’ll play

Ok, I’ll play, because it’s an interesting idea, and surely if my post gets posted it will probably be fairly conservative compared to what some people might post on a free for all blog.
I’ll just give a little bit about me then, I’m just a girl, addicted to blogging (thus my inability to refrain from posting here when invited!), trying to sell her house in New York and move someplace more …appealing! (selling a house is HELL!!!)
I am at work, the weather is beautiful outside which is making work even more unpleasant (if that’s possible!), and I came across this blog post using blogosphere on my own blog (which I never ever see *my* posts show up on, but I digress!).
I enjoy checking out other people’s blogs, because you get little glimpses into the lives of others, almost like driving through a neighborhood at night and being able to see in people’s living room windows to see a small slice of their life. No, I am not a stalker or a Peeping Tom! lol It’s all gentle curiosity and just getting a feel for the world around me.
Has this been a lot of run on sentences? It’s very hard to see in this little box. lol
Anyhow, to the blog owner, I hope that this experiment is successful for you! I am curious to see what transpires and I will be back to have a peek!

well isn’t anyone else going to post?????? Billions of people on this internet and no one wants to post huh, what a bunch of sticks in the mud!!! Hmph. (goes to get a hose to wash off the mud from the sticks)
They’re not exactly flooding in, are they?!
I think it’s probably down to people not even knowing about it at the moment. I’ll try and think of a way of getting more people here.
Any suggestions?
maybe try entrecard. Its getting me a lot of hits, not a lot of comments but thats different than actually posting in a blog….

Count me in. This sounds like an interesting idea. I hope the experiment is still on. I’ll try to pen an article and forward to you Monday.
The secret is to spread the word pole pole on the net. Pole pole is Swahili for slowly. Entrecard is a good idea. Another one is get onto people’s blogs and leave comments like crazy. Comments of course relevant to their topics there. They’ll link back to you. Give yourself a target of like 5 new and different blogs a day to visit. Some of them will be high traffic blogs others will not. With time you’ll have a neat list of who to visit more and more and then you’ll have a hub of blog posts right here.

You know I’m watching to see what topics people are blogging about then I can know the general direction of the articles. Or better still do you have a topic in mind?
No particular topics in mind. The whole idea, really, is for people to write about whatever they want to
